Happy Independence Day!
What We Shipped This Week
Better User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: in many ways, this is the meat & potatoes of Glossa - and it’s really important to get right because you’re using it every day.
Choose your styles: In Settings, you can choose which types you want to use - so Gherkin doesn’t clutter up your record when you just use user stories, for example.
Consistent generation: Glossa will always generate at least one AC for each of your selected styles. In other words, every requirement will have at least one user story, if you’re using user stories.
Higher quality generation: We went deep here - the generated outputs (user stories especially) are more rich and detailed, and do a better job describing the requirement comprehensively (in other words, they’re more what you need).
Better formatting: For a cleaner, more streamlined review experience.
Better Portal Experience: so your clients can have a good time with Glossa, too.
Requirement IDs in the portal: so it’s easier to point at the same thing on a call. (Requirements are searchable by ID in the Glossa requirements list view, too.)
Magic link usability: Clients can now re-use their magic link for 7 days, so they don’t have to review all of the requirements & user stories in a single session.
What We’re Working On
For the next couple of weeks, we’re continuing to focus on quality of life and user experience improvements - to make Glossa more wonderful to use, and to give users a chance to give Discovery Questions a spin before we jump into the next big feature. If you have improvements you’d like to see, send me a note!
Notifications & commenting - so you don’t miss notifications, your clients don’t miss notifications, and you can communicate more easily through comments
Categories & capability review - for a more intuitive user experience
Support for multiple languages - so your requirements match the language of your discovery conversations
What’s Coming Next
Client-Facing Discovery Questions - as soon as an SOW is signed, the client gets a link to their portal so they can start uploading documents and answering questions to get a head start on discovery. They get engaged immediately, and you get to focus your discovery sessions on the gnarliest things to untangle, rather than the basics.
Workflow Diagrams - a needed asset for many discovery conversations, but a real pain to make by hand (and then keep updated). We want you to be able to edit the diagrams live on the call, and have the requirements update accordingly.
Reply back if you want to be a design partner on either of these.
A Fresh Look
