Happy Friday!
What We Shipped This Week
This was week 2 of 3 for quality of life improvements - and quality is great, life is great. Specifically:
Multiple Languages - For many of you, discovery doesn't always happen in English - so Glossa doesn't have to, either. You can now set a project's output language: keep everything in English, or choose "same as input" so your requirements, acceptance criteria, and outcomes come back in the language of your source material. That means your clients can review requirements, outcomes, and user stories in the language they’re comfortable with. (Note: this just affects outputs; Glossa’s UI is all still in English)
Discovery Questions In Your Library - Many scoping processes come with standard intake forms that have conditional sections - absolutely gross to do in Excel. So now, you can add standard questions directly to a category or capability in Glossa - and when it shows up on a project, Glossa surfaces those questions automatically.
What We're Working On
Next week is also about making the day-to-day feel like yay. Next week we’re looking at:
Multiple source & target systems - because many implementations are not a simple 1:1
Product-specific categories & capabilities - because building a dashboard is not the same thing in ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, and Workday
Category & capability experience - making it easier to navigate, structure, and organize things
If there's something you’d like to see that would make your life a little better, tell me!
What's Coming Next
Client-Facing Document Upload & Discovery Questions - Today, you ask a client for their SOPs and other docs, and maybe send them a spreadsheet to fill in. You have to read through it all, it’s all manual and there’s a lot of back and forth. I think we can make this process much easier. Let me know if you want to be a design partner for this.
Stuff to Read & Watch - Coming Next Week
A conversation on GRC - I'm interviewing a cybersecurity and data privacy expert - and longtime proserv leader - to talk governance, risk & compliance in delivery.
A new case study - How a top SI is putting Glossa to work, with the numbers to back it up.
Say Hello in SF!
I'll be at the Salesforce Headless Community Tour at the SF Tower next week. If you're going to be around there and want to grab coffee, let's find a time.
As always, if you have questions, feedback, or just want to chat about what I'm seeing in the market, you know how to reach me. Have a wonderful weekend!
