I’ve worked on or around nonprofit technology transitions since 2011 (!) - some things have gotten better, most haven’t.

Watt Hamlett ran an excellent survey a few months ago, finding that 4 of the 5 most common problems with technology transitions happen in the planning phase, the #1 most reported problem by nonprofits was simply that projects were "more difficult than expected," and projects failed to live up to the intended outcomes for 76% of respondents.

Taking a step back: none of those are execution problems. They’re all planning problems - missing, misaligned, and misunderstood needs at the beginning of a project.

So today I'm launching Glossa for Nonprofits - a free version of Glossa for nonprofits switching to new technologies. v1 is for nonprofits moving to Agentforce Nonprofit.

Why it's good for nonprofits:
- Start the SI selection process knowing what you need
- Understand how your requirements map to Agentforce Nonprofit so your first conversation with a partner has substance
- Learn what's possible in Agentforce Nonprofit through Glossa's Library - it’s easier to read and apply to your migration than help docs
- Bring in experts for strategy & recommendations, not basic intake

It’s also good for SIs and solution consultants:
- Projects start aligned: scoping is faster, and everyone agrees on what needs to be built and why before the work begins
- Your pipeline arrives already prepared, which means shorter cycles
- You won't spend the sales cycle explaining what the solution does - you can focus on the client's specific problems
- You get to experience Glossa side by side with a client before you ever buy it

Special thanks to the many people who have helped with this, including Bas Visser and the team at FinDock (Glossa for Nonprofits is part of the #beyondNPSP movement), Dar Veverka and Lori Freeman, Kathleen Lueckeman, and of course Watt.

If you're at a nonprofit thinking about making the switch, book a time with me. (Yes, it's free! I want to understand your project and help you get set up.)
