In the last 6 months, basically everything has changed!
In May, I had my beautiful daughter Penny. I feel like the Grinch at the end of the story, because my heart grew three sizes that day - and somehow, it keeps growing every day afterwards, too.
And on the professional front - I resigned from AgentSync.
Being Head of Product at a unicorn startup is THE dream job, and I know many people reading this are thinking: she's nuts! Why would she leave this perfect role, where she has an excellent, hardworking team at a market-leading startup?
Could there possibly be something even MORE exciting that she's working on?
Well, reader: yes. In short, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to solve one of the hardest and most pervasive problems I know of, and to do it with a community I care about.
It sounds cliche, but Penny has crystallized my priorities. If I'm going to spend many hours a week away from her working, they better be worth it. And for me, there's nothing I'd rather do than this.

Why implementations? My introduction to this black hole of time and energy was at a nonprofit migrating off of Raiser's Edge back in 2011 (dear god).
